Finding the right coffee maker to meet your needs can be a daunting task.
You have to carefully look at strength, temperature control, and other aspects that affect the quality of your coffee maker. This is not to mention the extensive variety of models available in the market.
Thankfully, you can rely on our guidance. We have categorized the different coffee makers and the models that are available currently in the market. Choose one that fits your criteria.
Drip Coffee Maker
The most common coffee maker used by many [1], and has a simple technology to brew coffee. Hot water runs through a pipe that drips over the coffee grounds producing freshly brewed coffee.
The most recent advancement in drip coffee machines is the Keurig and Nespresso style coffee makers that support “capsules”. Capsules are ground coffee packaged in an aluminum pod-like structure.
Nespresso uses hot water and instead of dripping, uses centrifugal force (spins the pod at a high rpm) to produce freshly brewed coffee.
Keurig forces the hot water through a capsule, increases the pressure, and brews a fresh cup of coffee.
It can get confusing to choose the best coffee maker out of the two, so check out our comparison guide.
